Full-Flake Epoxy Flooring – Vintage Mica

Our Vintage Mica series is a standout among all our concrete floor coating solutions. The ten stunning flake blends – Bedstone, Cobalt, Desert Edge, Gold Mine, Gun Metal, Galaxy, Quarry, Shalestone, Silverado, and Zircon – contribute significantly to its appeal. The aesthetic beauty of this system, like our other mica-flake-infused series, is matched only by its durability. The installation process involves concrete preparation (diamond grinding and patching), followed by the application of a thick 100%-solids, moisture-mitigating epoxy primer coat. The chosen Vintage Mica flake blend is then broadcast into the epoxy layer in a full-chip spread. On the second day of application, any unadhered flakes are reclaimed, buffed, and vacuumed to create the perfect canvas for the final two polyaspartic clear coats. This installation process results in exquisite flooring that is far thicker (35 mils) than any “1-day polyurea” system, providing extreme flexural strength and superior resistance to impacts, abrasion, staining, and moisture.
